What makes your agency different?

Our agency is operated by a director with explicit knowledge and experience of all things child and family related. As a parent, nanny and educator, our director Nicola has a unique perspective that allows for great understanding of everyone's needs. We operate on an open flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends; which makes the process seamless and convenient for you! West Coast Nannies cares for the families and nannies we team with, and we want to see them succeed!

What are your fees?

There is a one time non-refundable registration fee of $400 to begin the placement process. Our placement fee information can be found here. Our fees include all documents necessary to facilitate a complete and organized placement, from start to finish!

Why are your fees less than other agencies?

Our agency is small - and mobile, which means that we can pass the savings on to you. You can be assured that your family is getting a personalized, and quality service - for a more affordable fee! Comparable agencies charge 14-18% of yearly gross earnings. We are pleased that our agency fees are one of the lowest in the industry, at 10% of the yearly gross earnings.

Nanny salaries range based on their experience, education, qualifications, specific details of a placement and geographical location. Nanny wages typically vary from $28-$36+/hr. For guidance on wages for specialized household roles or educators, please inquire.

What benefits are typical to offer?

Market standard benefits to offer include: paid sick days, paid federal holidays, paid vacation, guaranteed work hours, and IRS standard automobile reimbursement if a personal vehicle is used on the job. Other optional benefits include: medical insurance or stipend, car detailing, automobile insurance or stipend, and cell phone allowance.
