This breakfast is always a hit with all my kids. It's been a hot few weeks here and these smoothie bowls are the perfect way to start your day cool. They're easy to make and the kids love helping get them together. Here's how to make them. We use a Ninja blender with the smoothie bowl attachment.
Blend together:
Frozen fruit
Milk/Coconut Milk
Blue spirulina powder (to get the blue bowl)
Strawberry powder (to make it pink) - just blend dried strawberries alone first
If you like it sweeter, add some maple syrup
Topping Ideas:
Shredded coconut
Chia seeds
Hemp hearts
Cut up fruit
Sprinkles
Dry cereal
Granola
