My kiddos thrive on routine, and a visual cue on what's coming next really helps my younger ones build independence. This week, we created a daily routine chart and "boredom basket" for them to refer to and get activity ideas from. I hung it up in our "family command center" so the kids can easily see it. The activity card basket is in the same area, so when the kiddos need some inspiration on what to do they can easily access it.
Supplies needed:
Activity cards (I purchased on Etsy)
Scissors
Ribbon
Directions:
Print out the activity card sheets
Cut out and laminate the cards you wish you use
Hang your routine cards on the ribbon with the clothespins
Place the activity idea cards in a basket
