With the return to school this Fall looking very different for many people, we're all having to adjust the way we're doing things. I think that one way to help facilitate success is organization! This week, I wanted to make sure that our distance learning set up for our 3rd grader was ready to go and there was also a set up for our preschooler. One of the plans was to create clearly labeled daily boxes for the kids. The daily boxes are great for homeschool, distance learning organization, preschool activities and sensory boxes. My 3 year old is doing a home preschool program this year, so these boxes are perfect for me to set up the weeks activities/lessons ahead of time. That way it's super easy for a parent, nanny, grandparent or caregiver to jump right into the daily activity without scrambling to assemble things. I think this would be a great addition to a homeschool or distance learning station. Get your older kiddo involved in the process to help get them excited for school! The Ikea boxes I used are 10 ¼ " x 13 ¾ " x 3 ¼ " so they easily fit a standard piece of paper. The decals I ordered are in matte black and 6" long.

All I had to do was buy the boxes and apply the decals. The decals came with clear instructions and I found them easy to apply. I pre-marked the front center for all the boxes before I started to apply the decals.
PS: I waited in line for about 20 minutes to get into IKEA Renton. If you can, I suggest going in the late afternoon or before they close since there's often no line then. You can also order the boxes online, but the shipping is very slow right now.
