Do you have a bunch of broken crayons? Melting them all into new crayons is such a great way to easily repurpose them. I also love making crayon shapes because they're more manageable for my 15 month old to color with. This weekend we decided to turn our big bag of colorful broken crayons into something new!
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees
Peel all the paper off of the crayons
Break the crayons into small pieces
Sort them by colors or leave them mixed
Place crayon pieces into the silicone molds about half full
*I found the heart molds at the Dollar Tree and the round molds at Daiso
Place the molds on a baking sheet and place in the oven
Cook for about 10-15 minutes, checking frequently
Remove from oven, let cool completely and pop the crayons out of the mold
