Nanny Needed in Bellevue Crossroads
This Bellevue family is seeking a long-term nanny for their two children who are 2 and 7 years old. They describe their son as very sweet and articulate. He loves board games, Rubik’s cube, Legos, Minecraft, reading, puzzles and neighborhood walks. They describe their daughter as spunky but sweet. She really loves playing outside, “cooking” on her learning tower, reading, puzzles and doing whatever big brother is. She naps daily for about 1.5/2 hours. Their ideal nanny is reliable, engaging, on-time, genuinely loves working with kids and is a good communicator. Somebody who will actively participate, and say what they think and feel would be the best fit for the family. The parents value positive reinforcement and open communication. Feedback from other caregivers in the children’s life say that the parents are good listeners, proactive and actively involved. They also say the children are sweet, caring and love being with their caregiver. The parents see a nanny as a part of their team and look forward to creating a meaningful relationship. Their needed hours of coverage are: Monday: 9am – 4:30pm, Wednesday: 9am – 4:30pm, Friday: 9am – 4:30pm and every other Tuesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm. They have flexibility in the number of hours to offer a nanny, depending on what the candidate prefers (part-time or full-time) as long as it covers the hours listed previously (example 40 hours per week over Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday). Dad is currently working from home, and their son will be participating in remote learning, so assistance will be needed once school resumes in the fall. Mom is an essential hospital worker (a pharmacist) not involved in direct care (in her own office with own ventilation - very limited exposure risk). The family is very cautious regarding COVID-19 precautions and would like to team with a nanny that shares a similar philosophy. The nanny must be up to date on all vaccines and be willing to get an annual flu shot.
Responsibilities include: childcare, child meal prep, children’s dishes, and straightening up from daily play/activities.
