Thanksgiving is just around the corner! It's a great time to take part in some festive crafts with the little ones. My little one loved making crafts to give to her Grandparents at Thanksgiving last year, and we are excited to make this one! This is an easy craft for your Seattle nanny to make with the kiddos as well!
Craft: Hand Print Turkeys
Supplies:
Construction paper (red, brown, orange, and yellow)
Googly eyes
Felt (yellow)
Baby food jar (with label peeled off)
Glitter (gold)
Glue
Directions:
Trace child's hands on construction paper and cut out
Repeat in various colors, so that you have about 7 hand prints
Squeeze glue inside jar and rotate jar to spread glue around
Sprinkle glitter inside the jar (screw lid on the jar and shake to spread the glitter)
Glue hand prints on the back of the jar (fanned out)
Glue eyes on jar
Cut out triangle shaped "beak" from the felt and glue on the jar
