PT Afterschool Nanny
This family of four is seeking an afternoon nanny for their two children. They describe themselves as: easy-going, flexible, and a family that likes to have fun and laugh a lot. They describe their daughter as: high energy, sweet, determined, snuggly and someone that “feels her feelings.” Their son is described as: high energy, inquisitive, loud and easily adaptable. They are looking for a nanny that is eager to become an important person in the children’s lives and become part of the family. Someone that is very energetic, outgoing, affectionate, firm and loving would be the best fit. Their son is in Kindergarten and their daughter is in preschool. A nanny that has experience with high energy kids and knows how to handle kids with big feelings, transitions, and can provide age appropriate redirection and problem solving as needed would be the best fit. If the nanny would like extra hours, there is opportunity to walk the dogs (extra 30 mins per day), stay later on weeknights, babysit on weekends, babysit overnight while parents travel and dog sit. They can also offer full-time hours for summer and school breaks, if the nanny is interested.
Responsibilities include: childcare, children meals, transportation to school + activities, light housekeeping and children’s laundry.
Location: Issaquah
Start Date: within the next 4 weeks
Kids: 5 y/o boy + 3 y/o girl
Wage: $22 - 25/hour DOE
Days/Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:00PM – 6:00PM, Wednesday: 1:30PM – 6PM
Benefits: guaranteed hours, taxes withheld, mileage reimbursement, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick leave

Pets in home: yes, two dogs
